Today’s consumers increasingly demand more nutritious foods, including fresh, high-quality produce that is free of bacterial contaminants, toxic pesticides and other harmful chemicals. It is Grow Georgia's mission to provide it.
Grow Georgia is a local, wholesale-only grower of organic fruits and vegetables to be distributed throughout the Southeast U.S. using sustainable practices. Our goal is to develop a sustainable indoor growing center to grow produce close to the consumer, including assorted leafy-green vegetables, such as lettuces and spinach, as well as other produce.
Ours will be an energy- and water-efficient operation in a controlled-growing environment that runs 24/7, 365 days a year, generates no pollution and zero water waste, and uses less energy than greenhouses and field farms. We are environmentally responsible, as we promote sustainable consumption of natural resources and use clean technologies.
We are also socially responsible, as we will be providing good jobs to employ and empower a diverse community-based work force. And because we operate year-round, we shall provide year-round local employment.
